ARLINGTON — Arlington schools is accepting registration of kindergarten students for the 2009 - 2010 school year this week. Early kindergarten registration is being accepted this March 23 - 27.

To attend kindergarten in the fall, a child must turn 5 years old before Sept. 1 and have a state-registered birth certificate and proof of residency, i.e. a rental agreement or utility bill, and proof of up-to date immunizations.

Registration paperwork is available on the school district's Web site at www.asd.wednet.edu, where school boundary maps help parents determine which is their school. There is also a Kindergarten Readiness brochure in English and Spanish.
