Arlington police arrest Stanwood man in connection with armed robbery

ARLINGTON — A 21-year-old Stanwood man was booked in Snohomish County Jail Aug. 28 in connection with an armed robbery of the Arlington Dominos Pizza.
Detectives say Isaac McClure, who was already in the jail facing charges to a separate armed robbery in Lynnwood, confessed to the June 28 robbery. Authorities say they have recovered the firearm that was allegedly used in both robberies.
"It was difficult for McClure to deny having been in possession of a firearm as witnesses reported that he had recently shot himself in the hand while showing off the pistol to friends," said Detective Sergeant Jonathan Ventura of the Arlington Police Department.
Arlington and Lynnwood police departments are working together on the cases, Ventura said.
Robbery in the second degree is a Class B felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and $20,000 in fines.
The Arlington Dominos is located in the 3100 block of Smokey Point Drive.
