Arlington police raid suspected drug house

ARLINGTON - On Wednesday, Oct. 21, at approximately 7 p.m., Arlington Police, along with the assistance of Marysville Police and the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant on a home in the 4900 block of 196th Place NE, which was occupied by a suspected marijuana trafficker.

The raid upon the residence was the culmination of an investigation initiated by Arlington Police Officer Seth Kinney after he received an anonymous tip from a concerned citizen. Officers ultimately discovered a marijuana grow operation, seizing a number of marijuana plants, U.S. currency, a cache of pistols and high-powered rifles, and approximately 180 grams of packaged marijuana.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of Violation of the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act - Manufacturing with the Intent to Deliver.

VUCSA is a Class B felony that is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.
