Wind, rain slated to blow through Snohomish County

SNOHOMISH COUNTY — Heavy rains could push the Stillaguamish River to near flood stage, weather officials said Monday, Nov. 16.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch in Snohomish County that will remain in effect through Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Officials are forecasting heavy showers, as well as wind gusts of more than 40 miles per hour, throughout the night Monday in parts of western Washington, including Snohomish County.

Winds could reach as high as 55 miles per hour Monday night, and are expected to continue through Tuesday, Nov. 17.

City officials said Monday that no major damages has been reported in Arlington or Marysville.
