Arlington house fire displaces seven residents

ARLINGTON — Fire crews responded to a house fire in the 17600 block of 34th Avenue near Smokey Point during the early hours of Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Crews were able to contain the fire, and investigators from the Snohomish County Fire Marshal's Office have determined that the blaze started in the laundry room.

Officials said that there were no working smoke alarms in the home.

The fire displaces seven residents — three adults and four children — who lived in the home. Officials said that Support 46 and the Snohomish County American Red Cross were available to help the residents.
