ARLINGTON — Cancer survivors and care takers are being invited to an open house survivor tea.

The event, which takes place from 12:30-2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, will be held at the Stillaguamish Senior Center.

Featuring a number of home-baked desserts, the tea is being organized by the Arlington Relay for Life committee to celebrate the lives of those who have survived cancer and their care givers, said organizer Kay Duskin.

Relay for Life raises funds to support the American Cancer Society's mission of preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing the suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service, Duskin said.

Stillaguamish Senior Center is located at 18308 Smokey Point Boulevard.
