Arlington residents invited to March 12 Silvertips game

ARLINGTON — The Everett Silvertips have clinched a playoff spot. Now they need some support from the Arlington community as they move toward the post season.

The Silvertips will be welcoming Arlington residents and their families to an upcoming WHL hockey game March 12 versus the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Game time is 7:35 p.m.

Community members will be able to purchase discounted green-level tickets for $14 each — a $6 savings per ticket.

Fans who take advantage of the offer also receive a $5 coupon toward purchases at the Silvertips Team Store.

The deadline to the discounted tickets is March 10 or while supplies last. Tickets will be available for pick up at the Silvertips offices (2000 Hewitt Avenue, Suite 100, Everett) one business day after an order has been placed.

Tickets not picked up with be held at will call at Comcast Arena.

The first 1,000 fans will receive a Monster Energy Drink cow bell.

Everett currently sits in second place in the WHL's U.S. Division. The Silvertips conclude their home season the following night against Chilliwack before taking on Spokane March 14 — the team's last regular season game.

The promotion is not available at the area box office — tickets can be purchased at www.everettsilvertips.com.
