ARLINGTON — Airplane fans or community members interested in learning more about flying soon have a chance to do so.

Arlington-based Out of the Blue Aviation, Inc., is offering a free "Spring Into Flying" barbeque from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17 at the Arlington Municipal Airport.

In addition to eating, attendees will have a chance to watch the Blackjack Squadron — a group of Northwest pilots — and members of the International Aerobatic Club take to the air for a number of informal air events.

Demo flights will also be available to attendees interested in learning more about flying or purchasing a sport plane.

Cost is free, but prior registration is required.
