ARLINGTON – The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office recovered the body of a missing man off of Highway 530 east of Arlington.

Around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the body was discovered by someone working near the 30500 block of Highway 530.

The decedent is believed to be a man in his 60’s who was reported missing to another local law enforcement agency in March.

At this time, the death does not appear to be suspicious but is being investigated by detectives with the Major Crimes Unit.

Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death, will come from the county medical examiner.
