Force recovers 3 stolen rental vehicles

MARYSVILLE – The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force has arrested three suspects and recovered three vehicles stolen from a rental car business.

MARYSVILLE – The Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force has arrested three suspects and recovered three vehicles stolen from a rental car business.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car reported Dec. 15 that its office at the 9000 block of State Avenue had been burglarized. The building and several vehicles were damaged, and burglars obtained rental car keys from the overnight drop box.

Marysville police stopped a red 2015 Nissan Altima on Dec. 17 that was being driven by a 30-year-old Bellingham woman. The woman was booked into jail for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

The next day, detectives from SNOCAT and Marysville police responded to the 6400 block of 23rd Ave. NE and located a stolen white 2014 Nissan Maxima. A 38-year old man and 41-year old woman, both from Arlington, were booked into the Marysville Jail for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Detectives learned four vehicles actually were stolen. A silver 2015 Nissan Altima was located by Everett police in the 2000 block of Tower Street Dec. 19. Detectives are still looking for the fourth vehicle.
