MARYSVILLE – The city parks department’s 25th Annual Fishing Derby will take place Saturday starting at 8 a.m. at the Jennings Park pond, which is well-stocked for the event.

Children fish for free, using their own equipment or fishing poles and debate borrowed from the Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club.

One fish per entrant. Ages are 2-12. Prizes are determined by a random drawing of all participants. The location is 6915 Armar Road.

The Marysville Kiwanis Club puts on a Pancake Breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Cost is $3 for kids and $5 for adults. Please bring a canned food item for the Marysville Food Bank, and leave pets at home.
