ARLINGTON — The Arlington boys tennis team finished its regular season 12-4 overall defeating Marysville Getchell 6-1 Oct 11. The Eagles are ranked second in the Wesco 3A North. MG also lost 7-0 to 3A-leader Snohomish Oct. 10. The Chargers finished its season 5-11 overall.

Nolan Lechner and James Madamba 7-5 and 6-4; Wren Pullig and Kenny Knutson (A) def. Josh Villavicencio and Joshua Angulo, 6-3 and 6-1; Will Eckley and Conner Fochesato (A) def. Brandon Thomas and Evan Sprague; 4-6, 6-3 and 6-2.

ARLINGTON — McKenzie Buell and Courtney Arnold put together Arlington’s goal to defeat Edmonds-Woodway 1-0 in girls soccer Oct. 11. Arlington’s record is 9-2-1.

STANWOOD — The Marysville Getchell girls soccer team defeated Stanwood 3-2 Oct. 11. MG’s goals: Oshinaye Taylor scored two and Lindsey Weikel had one with assists by Sophia Trujilo and Hayli Huhta. MG’s record is 7-1-1.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington volleyball team defeated 3-0 (25-15, 25-16 and 25-15) Oct. 11. Highlights: Ally Peterson led in 25 assists and Morgan Van Larr led with nine kills. Arlington’s record is 9-1.

MARYSVILLE — Gabby Crenshaw scored a goal for Marysville-Pilchuck that was overshadowed by Shorecrest’s Lauren Brown’s hat trick performance in M-P’s 3-1 loss Oct. 11. M-P’s record fell 4-4-3.

TULALIP — The Tulalip Heritage girls volleyball team defeated Marysville-Pilchuck’s C-team 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 12-25 and 25-20) Oct. 10.

Tulalip highlights: Myrna Redleaf led with 15 kills. Tulalip’s record is 6-3.
