Hugh Brian Gallagher, age 61, of Marysville, WA, passed away on June 3, 2019, at home.

Brian loved his children and was fiercely proud of them. He would say they are his greatest life achievement. In addition to being an adoring father, Brian was a talented home chef. His pizza and ribs were renowned. Brian was a power plant engineer for the University of Washington for more than 20 years. Brian’s quick wit, humor and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brian is survived by his loving children, Hugh Brian Jr., Justin (Tessa), Terrance Charles (Keiko), Devin and Sabrina. He is also survived by his pride and joy grandchildren, Hugh Brian III, Keegan, Olivia, Aiko, George and Adalyn, his brothers John, Charles (Sun), Lloyd (Maureen), Robert (Rikki), Walter (Jan), and sisters Peg (Jack) and Jeannine (David) and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Dorothea Gallagher.

A private memorial service will be held celebrating Brian’s life on June 17, 2019. As Brian was a survivor of Ocular Melanoma, the family would appreciate donations be made to the American Cancer Society by calling 800-227-2345 in lieu of flowers.
