Kay Louise Sandall

Kay Louise (Lacey) Sandall, 70, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on May 31, 2007, in Everett, Wash.
She was born August 16, 1936, in Danbury, Conn.
The daughter of Milton and Mildred Lacey, she grew up in Georgetown, Conn. In 1955, she married Robert F. Sandall, of Norwalk, Conn. Early in their marriage, they resided in Norwalk; Springfield, Mass.; Mobile, Ala.; Kailua, Hawaii; and Beaverton, Ore. With her husband, they raised their children primarily in Marysville, Wash.; later living in the Mukilteo/Everett, Wash., area.
Kay worked as an elementary and high school secretary in the Marysville School District for over 20 years and retired as the secretary for Marysville-Pilchuck High School in 1996.
Kay enjoyed traveling with her husband. They visited Australia, England, Scotland and New Zealand. She and her husband were fortunate to take several cruises and motorhome trips with friends. Her favorite memories were those that included her family and friends.
Kay is survived by her husband of 52 years; her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Gail Sandall; her daughter, Lori Cummings; her son, Tom Sandall; her grandchildren, Audrey, Heather, Colin, Debbie, Danni, Kelsey, Jeremy, Megan and Jake; great-granddaughter, Sarah; and sister, Margaret Locher, of Louden, Tenn.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2007, at the Cedar Cross United Methodist Church, Mill Creek, Wash.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Parkinson Foundation.
Kays positive spirit was an inspiration to all.
