There are a number of things that contribute to the high quality of life the residents of our community enjoy. One of those is a comprehensive local healthcare system. Our community is fortunate of have high quality and dedicated doctors, a local hospital with new facilities and state of the art equipment, long term care facilities and a highly trained emergency medical service.

Dealing with a medical crisis is very much a team approach. The EMTs and paramedics are a critical part of this team. The care they provide in those important first few minutes can determine whether you survive and how disabled you may become.

As hospital administrator, I have the daily opportunity to observe the importance of our Emergency Medical Services. I often reflect how fortunate we are to have our great EMTs and paramedics.
