The Nov. 20th Herald article talks about the Marysville Grove Elementary School. This is a campus for 550 students on 10 acres.
Yet some of our southern politicians want to build a university camps for 5,000 students on 26 acres. This Everett site is in the southern half of Snohomish County, 14 miles from the King County Line. This is not even in the targeted area of educational need.
Perhaps we are long overdue for higher education, with an emphasis on math and geography.
