Eagles win big at Tacoma Dome | SLIDESHOW

TACOMA — The Arlington boys basketball team advanced to the semifinal game of the 2013 Hardwood Classic State Basketball Championships, after a victory in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Tacoma Dome.

The Eagles topped Richland in a 72-60 win, with senior Terry Dawn leading the group with 23 points and 13 rebounds and junior Noah Jones right behind him with 20 points.

They advance to face Jackson, another Wesco team, in the semifinal game today at 5:30 p.m. at the Tacoma Dome. Jackson topped Central Valley, 55-47 in the quarterfinals and have already beat Arlington twice this year, including during the district championship title game at Glacier Peak.

If Arlington can pull out a win over the Timberwolves, they will advance to the state title game on Saturday, March 2, at 9 p.m.
