Eagle golfers hit the links

ARLINGTON — The Arlington High School boys golf team competed in a match against Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Monroe and Mount Vernon, at Gleneagle Golf Course on Tuesday, March 19.

The Eagles took second place as a team with five score points and a total score of 206. Arlington's No. 1, senior Anthony Allen, was a medalist with a 35 on the 9-hole par 36 course.

Senior Cody McLane took third place with a score of 39, tying with four other golfers. Sophomore Cory Taylor tied for eighth with a score of 41 and senior Nick Rothrock tied for 11th place with a score of 42. Junior Aiden McCann scored a 49, taking 24th place and sophomore Bishop Tyner shot a 61, taking 29th place.

The Eagles will compete against Marysville Getchell at Cedarcrest Golf Course at 3 p.m. today.
