Logger boys basketball loses home opener
August 27, 2008 · Updated 6:40 PM
The Loggers boys basketball team opened their 2006-07 season at home Friday,
Dec. 1, with a 53-33 non-league loss to Granite Falls.
The visiting Tigers were also triumphant in the junior varsity game with a 53-37 score.
It was the first game of the year for both teams.
Coach Jeff Bryson said he was disappointed in his teams play.
Our rebounding was inconsistent, Bryson said.
I have to give Granite Falls a lot of credit however. Their defensive pressure took us out of our game and we didnt shoot well. We have a lot of work to do to get to the level of play we believe we are capable of.
