Loggers volleyball preps for districts

The Lady Loggers volleyball team improved to 7-4 in Northwest league play and 9-4 overall with a 3-0 sweep of Friday Harbor.
The Thursday, Oct. 26, match took place at the Darrington Community Center.
Game scores were 25-17, 25-12 and 25-22.
Seniors Jill Frable, Kylie Thompson and Kristy Turner led the team statistically.
Frable had 11 kills and was a perfect 14-for-14 serving while Thompson and Turner combined for 10 kills.
The Lady Loggers will begin post-season play Nov. 3-4 at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
Darringtons 2B Tri-District playoff berth is their 12th in the last 13 years.
