Eagles boys basketball loses two Wesco North games to fall to 0-5

The Eagles boys basketball team lost two Wesco North games to fall to 0-5 on the 2006-07 campaign. Arlington began the week at home with a narrow defeat to the Wildcats of Oak Harbor 69-64 Tuesday, Dec. 12, and then were soundly defeated by Snohomish 79-41, 48 hours later on the road. First-year coach Nick Brown said his squad didnt play very well against the undefeated Panthers and credited their post play.
They (Snohomish) were a lot bigger and stronger than we were and they shot really well also, Brown said.
We just werent able to do anything offensively.

Tuesday, Dec. 14 the Eagles fought the visiting Wildcats, but fell five points short in the end.
Brown said his squad played well in back to back games (Mt. Vernon and Oak Harbor), but had a couple of crucial mistakes toward the end of the loss to the Wildcats.
