Many Lakewood athletes tried out different events as the boys and girls teams took second place in a three-team league meet at King’s against their host and Cedarcrest April 16. Senior Christina Ordonez was one who vied in one of her favored events, taking third place in the shot put with a best mark of 27-9. On the girls side, Rachel Cundy was a winner in the 3,200 as was sophomore Sam Adams in the javelin and the 4x100 relay. The boys also produced three winners.
