SHORELINE – It took double overtime, but the Marysville-Pilchuck High School soccer team’s season finally came to an end Thursday.

The Tomahawks ended the season with a 14-3-1 record, but they went 1-2 in the district tournament.

They fell to Squalicum last night 1-0 at Shoreline Stadium. Squalicum (17-2-0) advances to face Meadowdale (11-7-2) Saturday in the championship of the consolation bracket to place third and advance to state.

Squalicum’s Ale Tomasi got behind the defense and scored on a breakaway in the second overtime to give the Storm the victory.
