Don Tinney, left, and Lee Stucker, share stories about their experiences mining many years ago at Darringtons side of the grand opening celebration of the Mountain Loop Highway. Tinney was demonstrating the art of panning gold for the Washington Prospectors Mining Association based in Sedro-Woolley. That was the hardest thing I ever did, Stucker said about hard-rock mining.
