Arlington boys basketball

In their only game of the week because of inclement weather, the Arlington boys basketball team fell to rival M-P 66-57 Tuesday, Jan. 9 on the road.
Arlington fell to 2-5 in league play and 2-9 overall.
The Eagles return to action Thursday, Jan. 18 at home against league leader Snohomish.
Junior varsity tips off at 5:40 p.m. and varsity follows at 7:30.

The Lady Eagles

The Lady Eagles lost their only game of the week 63-43 Tuesday, Jan. 9 to rival M-PHS.
Arlington fell to 0-7 in Wesco North play and 1-10 overall.
AHS returns to action Wednesday, Jan. 17 at home to face the Lady Wildcats of Oak Harbor. Junior varsity tips off at 5:40 p.m. and varsity at 7:30.

Cougar boys basketball loses two league matches

The Lakewood boys basketball team lost two tough Cascade Conference games the week of Jan. 9-12.
Friday, Jan. 12 the Cougars fell to Archbishop Murphy 57-43 on the road and went to overtime 72 hours earlier before falling to Granite Falls 64-59.
Lakewoods record now stands at 1-3 in league play and 4-6 overall.

The Lady Cougars fell to 1-2 in Cascade Conference play and 6-3 overall after a 50-33 home loss to Archbishop Murphy.
Lakewood was led by the 10 points of Aly Stewart.
The Lakewood junior varsity squad also lost 48-25.
