Karen Louise Moss

Karen Louise (Stole) Moss passed away on Sept. 8, 2006, at the University of Washington Medical Center with her family at her side.
Karen was born in Everett on Aug. 28, 1953, and attended schools in Lake Stevens, graduating from Lake Stevens High School in 1971. She worked for many years as a preschool teacher in Snohomish and later on at Sherwood Learning Center in Lake Stevens.
Karen was a kind and gentle person who had a special affinity for children. She loved everything in nature and it was the simple things in life that made her happy.
Karen is survived by her husband, Norman Moss; sons, Adam Riggs, of Denver, Colo., and David Riggs (wife, Heidi), of Aberdeen, Wash.; daughters, Angela Semingson (husband, Jeff), of Clermont, Fla., and Barbra Moss, of Snohomish, Wash.; four grandchildren, Elijah, Kaleb, Alyssa and Lana. Karen also had one brother, Andrew Stole (wife, Mary), of Snohomish; one sister, Christine Hinricksen (husband, Mark), of Marysville, Wash.; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara, in 1963, and Carl, in 2000.
In accordance with her wishes there will be a memorial gathering from 1 – 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at her Uncle Jack Gleasons home, 7208 60th Street SE, Snohomish. Please feel free to call Karens sister, Christine at 360-658-7325 or brother, Andrew at 425-334-1248, if needing directions.
