Violet Irene Robb

Violet Irene Robb Sis, 83, of Stanwood, Wash., passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, following a brief Illness.
Violet was born Dec. 24, 1923, in Arlington, Wash., to William and Bertha Anderson.
Violet was a life-long resident of the Arlington/Stanwood area. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1942 and was married to Arnold Robb on June 16, 1945.
They raised four sons; Ron, Alan, Dennis and Tom on the Robb Homestead.
Violet was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Silvana, Wash., Ladies Aid and the Daughters of Norway, Silvana. In recent years she enjoyed socializing with her Monthly Birthday Group, occasional luncheons with her classmates of the Class of 1942, and with friends at the Stanwood Eagles.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband Arnold, brother Louis Anderson, parents William and Bertha Anderson and baby Curtis.
She is survived by four sons; Ron (Dodie), Alan, Dennis (Janice) and Tom Robb; twin brother Sunny, 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday Nov. 15, 2007, at Peace Lutheran church, Silvana.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Hospice of Snohomish County or The American Cancer Society.
Private cremation with inurnment in the family plot in the Anderson Cemetery, Stanwood.
