Robert Wallace Biglin

Robert Wallace Biglin was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Portland, Ore.
He passed away June 7, 2007, in Marysville, Wash., while in the loving arms of the love of his life, Sandra.
Bob was the only child of Wallace and Vivian Biglin. He graduated from Grant High School in Portland and attended the University of Washington until he joined the U.S Army during WWII.
Bob retired from the Washington National Guard at the rank of Lt. Colonel. During his life, Bob, enjoyed skiing, sailing and his home that he built next to the Cascade River in the beautiful North Cascade mountains, but most of all he loved the time he spent with Sandra. They spent many winters in Mexico, until his health made it impossible for him to travel.
Bob is survived by his five children, son, Chris Biglin and granddaughters, Bianca and Monique; son, Jeff Biglin, wife Sher, grandchildren, Robert and Amy, with her husband Andy; daughter, Jinx Railton, granddaughters, Hailey, Holly with husband Mike, Heidi with husband Colin and great-grandchildren, Payton and Ellie; daughter, Cindy Carlisle with husband Paul, granddaughter, Kathy and husband Steve, along with granddaughter, Anne and partner, Becky; daughter, Lee Ann Nitz with husband Dea, along with grandson Michael with fiance Ashley, granddaughters, Jennifer and Cassie Rae; sister-in-law, Barbara Scott and family; brother-in-law, Tony Seferos, and his wife of 47 years, Sandra.
Bob also leaves many life-long friends from his life travels, Richard and Marilyn Webb and Richard Greene of Marblemount, Wash.; Hugh and Maxine Douglas, of Smithers, B.C and Ron and Margaret Lawson, of Portland, Ore. As well as many friends at the Cascade River Park, where Bob and Sandy lived many wonderful years.
Bob was proceeded in death by his son, Fredrick Van Horn and son-in-law Norm Railton.
Per Bobs wishes there will not be a funeral services at this time. At a later time, his family will have a celebration of Bobs life and scatter his ashes in the Cascade River next to his home in Marblemount.
