Daniel Paul James, 65, of Stanwood, Wash., died Nov. 8, 2007.
Dan was born on Nov. 24, 1942, in Omaha, Neb.
A Washington resident for most of his adult life, Dan was always quick with a joke or word of encouragement to help others. Dan was a respected member of Northwest congregations of Jehovahs Witnesses since 1961.
He was survived by his wife of 47 years, Maizie; his two sons, Matthew and Benjamin; his daughter, Rachel; as well as four sisters and two brothers. He had six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Stanwood Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.
