Grants for artists

Applicants must submit at least five photographs of their work labeled to identify the artist, medium, year completed, and whether the work was done under instruction or independently (either is acceptable).

Along with samples of work, applicants should submit a letter with GPA and art training, experience and goals and a letter of recommendation from a teacher. Homeschooled students are encouraged to apply.

Adult artists should submit work samples, a letter of intent that includes a bio, a description of the class, workshop, or seminar you wish to take, and personal goals, and the cost of the class they want to take.

Scholarships or grants must be used within one year of the award unless exceptions are arranged in advance. Send applications to: GMAG scholarship Committee, PO Box 562, Marysville, WA, 98270.
