March 13 is the deadline to vote for Purrfect Pals to make sure the local shelter has a secure spot as one of the 20 semifinalist shelters in Zootoo.com’s second annual shelter makeover contest.

On March 13, the 20 shelters with the most points accumulated by their supporters will be solidified as semifinalists in the Zootoo.com Shelter Makeover Contest.

Each semifinalist will be eligible for the grand prize makeover valued at up to one million dollars. The 19 runner-up shelters will share awards totaling $195,000.

Along with Purrfect Pals, Burlington’s Humane Society of Skagit County is also in the running, with seven other shelters from Washington state.
