The Arlington Jr. Blue Eagles 11-12 year-old football team defeated Mount Vernon 22-14 in overtime to win the North County youth football league championship.
The Eagles overcame a 14-0 first quarter deficit in windy and wet conditions en route to the championship, which concluded an undefeated season.
Both teams entered the game with identical 10-0 records.
