Armenia is a former Soviet Republic and a country of extremes minus 40 degrees in winter to over 108 degrees in the summer. It is a blend of nationalities, cultures and languages. Kyle said, Armenia is bordered by Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan, not exactly a great tourist area.
Andy, son of Marlyn and Traci Kyle, is a graduate of Arlington High School and an Eagle Scout. He has worked for Vine Street Group in construction to earn the money required to pay for his mission which costs $400 a month.
He enters the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on March 5 to learn the local language and culture of Armenia before leaving to serve there for two years.
