WSDOT announces projects on SR 9

For the next five weeks, the Washington State Department of Transportation advises motorists to expect daytime single-lane closures on Highway 9 north of Arlington, as crews working for the Snohomish County Public Utility District remove trees next to the road and relocate utility poles. This is the first step in a project intended to make Hwy. 9 safer and relieve congestion between Schloman Road and 268th Street NE.
