Arlington accepting proposals from concessionaires for event services

ARLINGTON — The city of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department is accepting proposals from qualified concessionaires to provide temporary food and beverage services during the city's outdoor music series and possibly other outdoor events within city parks during the months of July and August.

ARLINGTON — The city of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department is accepting proposals from qualified concessionaires to provide temporary food and beverage services during the city’s outdoor music series and possibly other outdoor events within city parks during the months of July and August.

The concessionaires should be fully self-contained and portable. They would be expected to provide varied menus of prepared food, snacks and desserts, plus varied beverages depending on the event. The successful independent contractors and concessionaires will be required to secure all business licenses and permits required by the city and the Snohomish Health District, as well as to maintain professional liability insurance coverage required by the city.

Applications are available at the city of Arlington Parks and Recreation office, located at 238 N. Olympic Ave., or online at www.arlingtonwa.gov/recreation. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 19.
