ARLINGTON — The Board of Snohomish County Public Hospital District No. 3 and the PeaceHealth Board have approved a letter of intent for the Cascade Valley Hospital and Clinics to affiliate with PeaceHealth.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Pizza Factory at 509 West Ave. is hosting a vendor fair on Sunday, Dec. 8, from noon to 4 p.m. to raise funds for Operation Christmas Hope.
The Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce is asking people to shop locally on Nov. 30, said Chamber President Kristen Granroth. A day like Small Business Saturday encourages people to discover products and services that are available locally, and the hope is those new customers will turn into repeat customers, she said.
ARLINGTON — Roxanne Fisher opened Healing Wind MFR Therapy in Suite C at 437 N. Olympic Ave. earlier this year to provide myofascial release, a specialized stretching technique used by some physical and massage therapists to treat patients with soft-tissue issues, but what sets Healing Wind apart from other outlets for massage therapy in the area is the degree to which Fisher attempts to address the connection between mind and body.

ARLINGTON — Friday, Oct. 25, saw the Angel of the Winds Casino officially break ground on construction of a new $20-million, 125-room, five-story hotel.
