Arlington Times brings back great memories

I was doing some searching for archives online and stumbled on the archives for the Arlington Times. So I decided to type in my last name and see what came up.

To my surprise I found many articles of my family’s past who are now all long gone. You see our family name was huge there in the Arlington, Marysville area. It was the Metzger family, and the Lane family, and the Anthony family.

I in the mid-1960’s played on the Arlington elementary football team. Many memories came back to me while I was pondering through the archives, and it was a pleasure because that little boy is now a old man, and I think that reading those old stories about my family brought back a little youth in me. Thank you Arlington. I miss you.
