I was pleased, but not surprised, to see the Arlington Firefighters endorsement of Barbara Tolbert for Arlington City Council Position 3. Arlington would be well served having Barbara on the Council. Barbara Tolbert has been involved and contributing to our community for many years.
She has amazing energy and intelligence. Ive watched her effectively grow and manage a volunteer force for the Fly-In from 60 people to over 500. Her ability to listen and engage people is a wonderful skill. Her decision making is always well thought out, weighing all sides with an open mind. As a mother of a young son, I know Barbara will serve Arlington well. Consider electing this thoughtful and intelligent woman to serve us on the City Council.
