Mom doesn’t know

Thanks to the Globe for consistent local reporting. It’s that consistency that makes me wonder at the story which appeared on Sept. 14 regarding the MPD officer-involved shooting.

What is the benefit of publishing the lengthy speculation of a completely uninformed critic from 2,000 miles away, before those who are informed (SMART Team) have even reached a conclusion?

This piece damages the credibility of domestic violence victims, police officers and provides nothing newsworthy to the reader.
