Theres still no crosswalk in front of M-PHS? I cant believe that after a boy got hit by a bus and received a major settlement for getting hit there is still no crosswalk or anything in front of the high school.
I drive my son to school every day and it makes me angry to see nothing has been done. When you try to pull out of the school, it is hard to see to the left to check if any cars are coming due to all the parking along the road. Fall is starting, which means it will be getting foggy in the mornings. That will make it even harder to see.
There are a lot of newer housing developments across the street, which means more and more kids are crossing the street and there are no lights nearby where they can cross safely, either.
If a school bus can accidentally hit a kid, knowing kids are crossing there, what about the people driving by that dont know the area? I guess Marysville will wait until a kid gets killed before something will be done about it.
But I bet the new schools will have a crossing area.
