Vote for bonds

Arlington voters on Feb. 13 will be asked to authorize the district to issue $107.5 million in bonds to build a replacement for Post Middle School and improve safety and security at all school buildings in the district.

Approval would not result in a tax rate increase from the rate that district voters paid in 2017. I support the upcoming Arlington School District bond, and I ask for your support. I believe the bond is well-planned and thought out.

The time is now not only to construct a new facility for Post but to demonstrate our support for our students and their safety. Our children deserve a modern, comfortable and safe environment to learn and facilities that will provide new opportunities for education.

As a community, we have an opportunity to create an amazing education facility for our future generation. What an amazing asset this new facility and safety improvements will be for our community.

Please join me in support of the school bond. Let’s do this.
