Thank you very much for all the great work that the EMS men and women do for our community, and what they have done for myself and my parents.
Being a caregiver takes people who can give with patience, kindness, caring and love. A job our paramedics do every day when they are called to an emergency, they act in a prompt professional, kind and caring way.
They deal every day with situations that you or I may not be able to handle. I made that call quite a few times for my parents.
The EMS men and women gave me strength, kept me calm and made my parents feel the same way and took very good care of them. We all felt that my parents needs we’re being taken care of and it felt safe.
My parents were in their 80s at the time, and it was comforting to them to know that our EMS workers were there for them when they needed and they were going to be taken care of. When you read this letter make sure you think long and hard about your decision in the upcoming EMS levy April 26.
I ask you to vote yes to keep this in our community, these men and women have a special job in my eyes, I’ve seen them in action quite a few times and was very glad to have them around to help. So please vote Yes on Prop 1.
