McClinchy Mile

The McClinchy Mile starts at Haller Middle School, 600 E. First St., in Arlington March 21, presented by B.I.K.E.S. Club of Snohomish County. A 20-mile loop includes a section of the paved Centennial Trail, a flat 34 miles tours through farmland in the Stillaguamish River valley to Stanwood and the challenging 47 miles covers rolling hills to Machias and back on the Centennial Trail, with elevations vary from flat to 600 feet. The McClinchy Mile has food stops, maps and support along all three loops. Cyclists are welcome to ride multiple loops if they want more miles — all three loops makes an early season century (100-mile ride). For information check out the Web site at bikesclub.org.
