ARLINGTON — While the weather outside has been a bit frightful at times, the Arlington Public Library has offered a ray of sunshine since December of last year by hosting some of the works of the Arlington Arts Council.

Camelia Nahlik of the Arlington Arts Council explained that the ongoing art show, whose theme is “Round,” will remain on display at the Arlington Public Library through March of this year.

Nahlik noted that the featured original works of art showcase the talents of Arlington Arts Council members such as Jill Bhear, Marilyn Lisk, Christina Harvey and Arlene Morrison.

The Arlington Arts Council’s next art show in the Arlington Public Library will feature the theme of “Dreams” and is set to open in March of this year, picking up from where the “Round” art show leaves off.

“New members are always welcome,” Nahlik said. “We hope to see you a ’round.'”

The Arlington Public Library is located at 135 N. Washington Ave. and can be reached by phone at 360-435-3033.
