Arlington resident earns scholarship from WWU

Western Washington University student Brendon Forbes Brereton, son of Lawrence P. Brereton of Cheney and Darina H. Durham of Arlington, received a $2,500 Kathryn A. Brunken Scholarship Endowment for the 2014-15 academic year.

Western Washington University student Brendon Forbes Brereton, son of Lawrence P. Brereton of Cheney and Darina H. Durham of Arlington, received a $2,500 Kathryn A. Brunken Scholarship Endowment for the 2014-15 academic year.

The Kathryn A. Brunken Scholarship Endowment is a renewable four-year scholarship, available to an incoming student to Western with financial need.

Brereton is a sophomore with a 3.0 GPA, majoring in Plastics and Composites Engineering.
