Boys, girls enjoy ‘Ready, Set, Build’ at Marysville Opera House (slide show)

MARYSVILLE – Lego land took over the Marysville Opera House Sunday.

A number of tables were filled with Lego toys so kids could “Ready, Set, Build.”

About 75 kids pre-registered, but there were many walk-ins, city employee Lauren Manganese said.

There is still space available for the 3-5 p.m. session, she added.

Moms and sons, dads and daughters and a mixture of other family groups participated in the early session. Brianna Evans and son Thomas of Marysville were engaged in the building aspect, as were dad Luke Fletcher with his daughter Oliva, also from Marysville.

Cost is $6 per child, accompanied by an adult.
