OSO — The Oso Mill on State Route 530, between Arlington and Darrington, will host its second annual chainsaw carving show, courtesy of Arlington chainsaw carvers Dave and Debbie Tremko, on Friday, May 18, and Saturday, May 19.

The Tremkos have organized a series of chainsaw carving events in Arlington itself, and their second chainsaw carving exhibition at the Oso Mill will gather at least 10 fellow chainsaw carvers from across Washington state, with show times from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days, and a live auction stating at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 19.

Oso Mill owner Bruce Blacker is not only sharing his space for the duration of the event, but is also allowing Ron Carlson to conduct free showings of the mill to the public, who will be able to pay for retail products in addition to auction items.

“All of us want to welcome everyone for a visit, so they can watch the carvers show off their skills,” said Debbie Tremko, whose chainsaw-themed marriage to Dave last summer aired as part of the “Sawdogs” program on the Discovery Channel.
