‘Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny’ comes to Arlington Dec. 10

ARLINGTON — The Hometown Hootenanny, a monthly live country, folk and bluegrass music show in Everett, is moving north for the holiday season, in partnership with the Arlington Arts Council, to present the "Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny" at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m.

ARLINGTON — The Hometown Hootenanny, a monthly live country, folk and bluegrass music show in Everett, is moving north for the holiday season, in partnership with the Arlington Arts Council, to present the “Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny” at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m.

This holiday show will feature the Hometown Band performing contemporary and traditional Christmas songs with a country twist. Featured vocalists Dan Leal and Britta Grass will join the band to perform favorites such as “Christmas Cookies,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and “The Christmas Song.”

Other guest artists will include Pickled Okra, a unique old-timey acoustic trio who breathe life into a classic genre with fresh ideas and pure vintage charm, and local bluegrass favorites the Mission Mountain Trio. Katie Hoag, an Arlington local, will also perform two songs with the band as a showcase artist.

Advance tickets for the Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny are priced at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $5 for kids 12 and under. A special family package of two adult and two child and/or student tickets, up to 18 years old, is available online only at the reduced price of $37.50.
