MARYSVILLE – Anyone who attends today’s Brew and Cider Fest at the Opera House can expect a Wilder time.

That’s because the Margaret Wilder Band from Bellingham will be playing.

Local classic rock band Aardvarks United will be the opening act, starting at 4 p.m. The Wilder band, which is more of a rhythm and blues and funk group, expects to start at 6 p.m.

The event is a fund-raiser for the Marysville-Tulalip Chamber of Commerce, which supports businesses with various programs.

Cost is $35 at the door, which includes six drinks from at least 14 breweries that will each have three samplings.

It also includes a souvenir glass and food.

Breweries include: Whitewall Brewing, Elemental Hard Cider, Skagit River Brewery, Snotown Brewing, Timber Monster Brewing, Georgetown Brewing, Odin Brewing, Reuben’s Brews, Pear Up Cider, Schilling Cider, Wander Brewing and Diamond Knot Brewing.
