SILVANA — The annual Silvana Fair Board Auction will return on Saturday, March 10, to the Viking Hall at 1331 Pioneer Hwy. in downtown Silvana, west of I-5 off Exit 208.

The doors and snack bar will open at 5 p.m., while the silent auction is set to begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the live auction at 6 p.m.

Hundreds of items will be available in both the silent and live auctions, with proceeds going to support the Silvana Fair.

This year’s one-day Silvana Fair is slated for Saturday, July 28, and will once again feature youth from throughout the region showing animals of many types, along with numerous arts and crafts exhibits, demonstrations and fun for the whole family.

Admission to the Silvana Fair Board Auction is free, and funds raised during the auctions are used to cover the cost of running the Silvana Fair.

Auctioneers George Magnochi and Dave Fenton promise to keep the night lively as they take bids on a wide range of items. The evening will end with a drawing for a $250 door prize.
